Mikey Gulcicek is a photographer based in New York City. Selected for American Photography 42, Mikey got his start as an intern in Annie Leibovitz's Studio and has since created fashion, portrait, and documentary work featured in the Museum at FIT, Advocate Magazine, and Whitehot Magazine of Contemporary Art.
Mikey is fluent in French, speaks Spanish and Hindi, and is available for work in NYC and in the EU.
After earning a BA in Critical Theory and French from Duke University, Mikey completed a Fulbright Scholarship in Dehradun, India. He taught high school English in Lyon, France and later joined the commercial team of several advertising start-ups in New York before photographing full-time.
