Mikey got his start in the photo world interning for
Annie Leibovitz and Saturday Night Live while in the Photo program at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Previously, Mikey earned BA in Critical Theory and
French from Duke University, after which he did a Fulbright Scholarship in Dehradun, India. He taught high school English in Lyon, France and later joined the commercial team of several advertising start-ups in New York before making photographs full-time.
